AGENTIC

The verdict on SEOBot

Agents do almost all of it. People own the product and stay out of the delivery.

Human in the loop

1 / 10

Lower means agents do more of the delivery work.

Agentic sweet spot

NOT AS IS

Model it? Same call. Our take below says why.

The short version

Problem: Small sites need search content, but owners have no time to write it and often cannot hire a writer. SEOBot sells the finished article, not another dashboard to learn.
Money: The site shows plans from $49 a month. That is a clear price people can pay. We do not claim a revenue total here, because we have not verified one. Label: Price shown, revenue not shown.
Lesson: Do not just copy plain article generation. Anyone can do that now. If you copy this shape, add something an AI subscription cannot hand a buyer on its own: real knowledge of a niche, careful fact checking, first hand experience, or a strong editorial point of view. That human judgement is the part worth charging for.

The teardown

8 steps: who or what does each one

How SEOBot seems to run, as far as we can tell. Some of this is on their site. Some is our best read, and it is labelled that way.

Step	Who does it	What happens	Evidence
1 Sign up and intake	Agent	The customer gives their site and goals through a form and pays on the site. The agent system takes that in and starts the job. No staff member on the SEOBot team is needed for this step.	Claimed
2 Topic and keyword research	Agent	The service researches the customer site and looks for topics and keywords worth writing about.	Claimed
3 Content plan	Agent	Topics are turned into a content plan for the customer site.	Claimed
4 Approval gate	Agent	The system sends the plan out and waits for a yes or no before it goes ahead, as pitched on the site. The customer reply is their input. It is not counted as work by the SEOBot team, and no team member is needed to run this gate.	Claimed
5 Writing	Agent	Articles are written from the approved plan. This is the main work the customer pays for.	Claimed
6 Linking and on page checks	Agent	Articles get internal and external links and basic on page checks before delivery.	Claimed
7 Publishing to site	Agent	Finished articles are published to the customer site or delivered to the customer, ready to read.	Claimed
8 Next batch	Agent	The system rolls the next set of topics forward for the next batch. Any regular report back to the customer is our read, not a clear public claim we could point to. No team member is counted for rolling the batch forward. Note on counting: The customer giving their site and goals, and replying at the approval gate, is customer input. It does not count as SEOBot team delivery work. People own the product and the company. That ownership is not counted as delivery work here.	Inferred

What it's built with

2 tools they use, 5 you could use to copy it

The flow first, then the tools. We keep what they use apart from what you could use to copy it.

Intake formAI ResearchApproval GateWritingPublishing to site

Used by them

Job	Tool we can see or they claim	Evidence
Research, planning, and writing	their own agent system, as pitched on their site. No public model or tool name is named there as far as we checked. Claimed.	Claimed
Publishing and delivery	delivery to the customer site, as pitched on their site. The exact publishing tool behind it is not named in public. Claimed.	Claimed

You could build it with

Job	Tool suggestion
Intake form	a form tool like Tally or Typeform, so customers can share their site and goals.
Research and writing	an LLM subscription, the paid plan for a large language model, to do research drafts and writing.
Customer and article records	Supabase, to store customers, topics, approvals, and article status.
Publishing to site	the customer website or CMS, like WordPress, where the finished article goes live.
Delivery notices and receipts	an email tool like Mailgun, to send approval requests, delivery notes, and receipts.

Tool picks are our suggestions to copy the model. Not sponsors.

Is SEOBot worth modeling?

Our take. Not a review, not a ranking.

This is a clean done for you model. The buyer gets a finished thing, and the builder sells the same job again and again.

Model call: NOT AS IS. Why pay someone else for SEO articles when you can open your own AI subscription and make them yourself?

Plain article writing does not take much human judgement, so there is not much here that is hard to copy, and not much protecting the price. It can work today and still be easy to undercut tomorrow.

That is the split in the two scores. Human in the Loop is low at 1 out of 10, and the Sweet Spot call is still Not As Is, because the work needs little taste or trust and a buyer can do it themselves.

Still worth featuring as a simple example. Just not the one to copy straight.

We flag any listing like this where the job is simple for AI to do and needs little human judgement. Flagged here means featured with a warning, not removed.
